Israeli occupying forces pulled down two stores and dug up a piece of Palestinians’ property in Beit Hanina in occupied East Alquds. Wafa, the official news agency for Palestine, quoted the inhabitants of Nablus to have said that the Israeli army invaded the town of Beit Hanina, Nitso Beit Hanina, a commercial shop, and a car showroom together with land excavation.
This article did not state why the Israeli army took this measure; nevertheless, more often than not, it pleads “construction without a permit” in similar instances. The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission said that according to the Palestinian Authority, during the first half of this year, the Israeli authorities pulled down 318 commercial facilities owned by the Palestinians in the West Bank and served 359 demolition notices for other commercial facilities out of which 85 are in Jerusalem.
The Israeli municipality in occupied Jerusalem denies Palestinians constructing in the city building permits and routinely demolishes their houses and other structures or forces the owners to do it. People in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, were anxious due to intensified aggression, resulting in approx—39 thousand fatalities in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. Since then, the Health Ministry has reported that the Israeli army killing of Palestinians rose to at least 578, with nearly 5,400 others wounded in the occupied West Bank.
