Global eyes on India’s election, concern over future of democracy

At present, India is among the closest friends of Israel, but it has been reported in the news that under Modi’s leadership, India is becoming a tyrannical authoritarian country.

Once considered a beacon of light in the international community, India has looked the other way. Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru earned an excellent name for the country, and all the Prime Ministers have cultivated it in their way, but this has been worsening over the last ten years.

In these ten years, all the global rankings, whether it is a matter of human rights, a matter of democracy, a matter of freedom of the press, a matter of religious liberty, or on the economic front, unemployment, devaluation of the rupee, a measure of prosperity or poverty. Be it the index, India ranks at the bottom on every criterion.

However, Godi media, etc., are conjointly projecting a solid image of Modi, called ‘Larger Deen Life’ in English, to the public, giving the impression that India has never had a more popular leader than him.

All over the world, their sting is ringing. Some even claimed that every world leader takes the next step only after consulting with Modi. No one ever bothered to look at India’s current ranking in various categories.

It is the job of the opposition and the media to keep the truth in front of the people. Still, under the leadership of Modi, where all the constitutional institutions were disregarded and made ‘his master’s voice’, the media was bought with money.

He has been enslaved, asks questions from the opposition instead of the government, corners the opposition by becoming the spokesman of the government, finds out its flaws, and uproots its dead bodies.

The people have been so ‘brainwashed’ by the media and their propagandists, their troll army and their army of religious zealots that they have become a flock of sheep who look to the wolf as their saviour instead of the lamb.

No one cares that the unemployment rate in the country has reached 83%, the prices of all the necessities of life are skyrocketing, the debt of the country has increased to 150 lakh crores in ten years, the interest of which is every year. 13 lakh crore is Rs. Dhana Seths’ debt of Rs 1.6 lakh crore has been put under ‘bad debt’, which is practically a debt write-off. Picky people have sold off public sector institutions worth trillions of rupees.

The simplified version has been made ‘Muslim’ to avoid these issues becoming an election issue. The Modi government is the only government in the world that wants to remain in power by sowing the seeds of hatred, misunderstanding and even violence between the two sects of its own country! Can a family ever be prosperous when the head of the family practices the ‘divide and rule’ policy?
