The U.S. has vetoed a UN resolution for a ceasefire in Gaza for the third time.

The support of the USA makes Netanyahu confident and provides him with the necessary military equipment and political support to go for the continued attack on Gaza. Gaza’s force accordingly continues through the support received from the United States, and the Biden administration’s failure to join international attempts to stop the war is bad.
The last US veto was used a month after the ICJ provided its decision that Israeli conduct could be qualified as genocidal. For this reason, by voting against the ceasefire resolution, the US failed to embrace the chance to stop what the ICJ and numerous other observers consider an ongoing genocide.
