Pakistan to Boycott Businesses Supporting Israel, declaring Netanyahu a Terrorist

Pakistan has said that it will soon set up a committee to recommend that Pakistani citizens should stop patronising companies that support Israel amid the current attack on the Gaza Strip.

While expressing such concerns, Rana Sanaullah, advising political affairs to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, stated that a committee has been constituted to pinpoint the companies and products originating from Pakistan that have – directly or indirectly – support Israel or forces involved in war crimes against Palestinians to Pakistan, according to the Anadolu news agency.

This comes as an amendment after the government’s resolution with a far-right political party in the country, the Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP). He also claimed that Islamabad is willing to treat injured Palestinians, and pending their return home, they have education in Pakistani schools and medical care in Pakistani hospitals.

The Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas applauded the Pakistani government’s statement. “This is why we view this statement as a process of providing our people with support while they are exposed to a war of genocide and ethnic cleansing by the terrorist Zionist regime,” a statement by Hamas Saturday read.

Muslims demanded its governments to take stands and measures for the total boycott of ‘the fascist occupation entity’. They urged the Islamic nations to aid and assist the Palestinians and put pressure by all lawful means not to continue the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.

The country currently under trial in the International Court of Justice on the genocide of Palestinians has been unleashing a ferocious war on Gazans since October 7. The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that 38,893 Palestinians have been killed and 89,727 others injured. Apart from that, thousands of people went missing in southern Gaza.

The aggression exercised by Israelis has led to the occurrence of famine, mainly in the northern regions of Gaza, which has resulted in many deaths, especially of children. About two million people were withdrawn from Gaza, most of them fleeing to southern Rafah city, consequently witnessing the second-largest Palestinian refugee movement since the Nakba of 1948.
