The US and UK commit to swift action on supplying long-range arms to Ukraine.

Kyiv: The US and Britain on Wednesday pledged support to extend almost $1. 5 billion in support for Ukraine and said he would promptly respond to Kyiv’s requests to liberalize limitations on arms that can strike further into Russia.

This week, Britain’s Foreign Secretary, David Lammy, and America’s Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, flew into Kyiv – in a display of support that was hardly less than dramatic. It followed with increasing concern as to what was happening on the front line as well as the future position of Washington in the war.

Moscow may escalate its firepower following Russia’s alleged purchase of new short-range Iranian missiles. At the same time, the presidential election in November can lead to a dramatic change in the policy of Ukraine’s chief patron.

Lammy, with Blinken, who traveled for nine hours by train to Kyiv, announced that the United States should provide new economic support for $717 million to Ukraine. Half of it will be for electricity support for Ukraine from the US to enhance its electric power’s resilience as Russia targets its electricity infrastructure during winter, especially this winter.

Blinken said Putin was once again waging war by “weaponizing the cold against the Ukrainian people” and using his winter playbook. “Our support is not going to wane; our unity is not going to break; Blinken said when reporters asked him in Kyiv.

“Putin will not survive the political allies who are determined to see Ukraine through, and Putin is definitely not going to outlive the people of Ukraine.”. ” Prime Labour government Lammy added that his government will give 600 million pounds in economic support to Ukraine.

It has been pushing towards the important logistics center of Pokrovsk in the eastern Donetsk region, a month after Kyiv surprised Russia with a counter-attack into the Kursk region of Russia. President Volodymyr Zelensky has increased his demands for Western allies in recent months to supply arms more potent and less limited.
