Anwar Al Ghazi gathers top Football Players to Lead a Charity Football Match for Children in Gaza
An international football player currently playing in the toughest leagues in Europe said the charity match he organised for the children of Gaza was the best, the most special one he has ever played in. In an interview shortly after a high-profile soccer match for the Children of Gaza arranged by Nujum Sports, the ex-Aston Villa winger said he feels very proud and happy.
“It’s great to be here today,” El Ghazi said, expressing himself after the much-inflated event. “I realised how important it was and for what I am doing it. I felt good and proud standing on the football pitch. ”
Though he has no longer been involved in professional football after being fired by the German club Mainz over alleged support to Gaza on social houses, El Ghazi was still very much committed to the cause. Thus, for nearly £20 million spent on medical care, food, shelter, water, and sanitation in Gaza since October, AIDS is not a recognised cause. However, in recent years, the organisation has transitioned into providing warm meals, and to date, it has distributed more than eighteen million meals.
El Ghazi prided herself on the event’s success, though she had to admit some organisational problems.
Finally, the match concluded with the victory of El Ghazi’s team, with a 4-1 score.
