At least thousands of Lebanese people crossed borders because of the bombing that is still going on in the country’s south on Tuesday. At the same time, Israel claimed it has continued to stage “massive attacks” on Hezbollah facilities in the southern outskirts of Beirut for the third time in a week.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he would continue the attack on Hezbollah and accused its leader Nasrallah of taking Lebanon to the ‘door of the abyss.’ World leaders are currently gathered at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, requesting a ceasefire as the conflict has led to the death of hundreds this week.

“I say to the people of Lebanon: Our war is not with you. Now, let me be clear: Our war is with Hezbollah,” Netanyahu said at a publicly televised address on a Tuesday afternoon addressing the Israeli military intelligence base. I said it yesterday, and I stand by what I said. I want you to dismount homes with a missile in the living room and a rocket in the garage. Who anyone [does not] will no longer have a home.”

The new strike in Dahieh is typical of those that have struck group leaders over the past few months. A missile struck the roof of an apartment block in the Ghobeiri district; pictures of the attack revealed part of the roof had caved in, and there was a major column of smoke coming from the building.

A couple of clips shared on social media depicted people clustered in the street with broken-down buildings and charred corpses.
