Ramadan Special: Kebab Masala Handi

Today in Ramadan special we will prepare a desi dish for Seor and Iftar, ‘Kebab Masala  Handi’ dish made with a combination of hot and spicy spices, serve it with naan or roti and wrap it up.

Ingredients:

  • To make the kebabs
  • 1/2 kg of beef
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 tablespoons of coriander
  • 2 tablespoons of mint
  • 3-4 green chilies
  • 4-5 garlic cloves
  • 1 slice of bread
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon hot spices
  • 1 tsp red chili powder

Synthesis:

Add onions, coriander, mint, green chillies, garlic and mix well in a grinder, now add a slice of bread, meat, salt, hot spices, red chili powder and mix well.Now shape them into kebabs and add oil in a frying pan and fry them until golden brown.

To make the curry:

  • 3 medium sized onions
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 3 Tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 spoons of curd

Synthesis:

  1. Now add 3 onions in another pan, after it turns light brown add cumin, tomato and all other spices and mix.
  1. Now add curd and cook for 10 minutes, when the oil separates, add the fried kebabs.
  1. Now add 1/4 cup of water and cook on low flame for 15 minutes and then garnish with coriander and hot spices and serve.
