Open for talks but not afraid of war, says Ismail Haniyeh

Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of the Palestinian resistance group Hamas, has said that he is fully ready for talks with Israel but not afraid of war.

In a statement, Ismail Haniyeh said that relaxation in talks with Israel is only for the sake of the lives of the Palestinians, Hamas is also fully prepared to defend the Palestinians.

Ismail Haniyeh said that it is the responsibility of the Muslim world and the neighboring countries to stop the Israeli conspiracy of famine in northern Gaza.

He appealed that the Palestinians of the West Bank, Bayt al-Maqdis march to the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the 1st of Ramadan.

He said that the siege of Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israel is unacceptable like the siege of Gaza, and the resistance forces supporting Gaza should intensify their war for Al-Aqsa as well.

He said that the cease-fire in Gaza will allow us to move in the direction that many Arab countries are ready for.
